Can you bill directly to my insurance company?
We cannot direct bill your insurance company for optometric services or products. The insurance industry has not yet developed a system like it has for dentistry where direct billing is readily available. The problem seems to be that vision coverage is much more varied than dental plans and would be difficult to track. Patients can pay for their eye exams, glasses and contact lenses by cash, debit, VISA or MasterCard. Unfortunately, we do not accept American Express or personal cheques.
Are your frame and lens prices competitive with other optical stores?
We checked. Our prices are very competitive to the optical stores. We continually survey our competitors and often find our prices are lower on many items. As well, most optical stores only offer a one year warranty on their products compared to our two year warranty.
